Track Laying Gang at Keith's Sandy Creek Railroad on Tuesday April 26, 2005

	The Aristrocraft Stainless Steel Track was laid out for the upper loop, but not yet connected when the track gang arrived.
	Overall view of the railroad. In the back is the raised yard area. Engineless train is on the lower/inside loop.
	The track gang takes stock of the situation. Left to right Nelson, Charlie, Doug ,Sandy and Keith
	Keith is working on the area where the switch crew (Charlie) has to build a custom left hand turnout. Note the rail on the right is sort of swinging. Lots of fill needed here.
	Charlie on the phone to a higher authority. Some of the switch ties are in place.
	The first stock rail is spiked in place.
	Nelson tell a tall one while holding the shovel back from doing too much work.
	Sandy is cutting off the wires that are attached to the 'dobbies' that hold the track in place. Note his work train holding track tools. The shorter, four wheel car, has working brakes!
	Both stock rails have been placed. Note that some aligning of the track on the right approach is being carried out by Sandy.
	The first train on the upper/outer loop is proceeding down from the yard area towards the crossover track.
	Over the new turnout under Nelson's watchful gaze.
	Charlie tweaks the closure rail.
	Steve joins the group as Keith puts a new locomotive on the train as Nelson supervises.
	Keith 'holds' the passenger train at the crossover. We ran two trains, one was always faster than the other and often we held our breath as they neared the crossover.
	The passenger train is on the inside loop. The new track we laid is on the left, heading up hill.
	The passenger has entered the crossover as the freight descends the grade. Note the 'dobbies' on the hillside.
