One of my passions is family history research. This website contains names of individuals who may have had a relationship with one or more of my ancestors but my findings have not established how they may be related. These folks married into collateral lines, witnessed deeds, witnessed wills, were mentioned as adjoining landowners, or had a similar surname and lived in the same area as my ancestors... you get the idea.

If a person appears on these pages and you know more about them, please contact me. I may have more information to share and perhaps we can both solve a mystery. At the least, we share an interest in the surname and the area in which they lived. Most of the individuals, named on this website, lived in either North Carolina or Virginia during the 1700s through 1800s.

This publication contains birth, marriage and death research findings. That means information pertaining to an individual or family may change as pages update.
