This 53 y/o female with low back pain and lumbar radiculopathy was referred for lumbosacral spine MRI. Selected images from her MRI shown above demonstrate an intradural-extramedullary mass consistent with an ependymoma. There is also a right lateral disk protrusion. Surgery confirmed the findings.
