This 75 y/o male was referred for chest CT without contrast for further evaluation of a nodular density in his right lower lobe on chest x-ray. Selected images from that non-enhanced chest CT shown above demonstrate the scimitar syndrome. Arterial phase post contrast chest CT confirms the partial anomalous pulmonary venous return to the inferior vena cava.
