This 45 y/o female with AIDS and cardiomyopathy presented with fever and an abnormal chest X-ray. A chest CT was performed. Selected images from the CT shown above demonstrate a filling defect in the left ventricle consistent with a left ventricular thrombus. The finding resolved after anticoagulant therapy.
