This 58 y/o female was referred for abdominal and pelvic CT for evaluation of an abdominal mass. Past medical history was unremarkable. Yearly gynecologic exams had been normal. Selected images from the CT shown above demonstrate a large heterogeneous mass with areas of enhancement with some incorporation of small bowel. Surgical resection and pathologic analysis established the diagnosis of leiomyosarcoma of small bowel.
