This 41 y/o male presented with right lower quadrant pain. Selected images from his pelvic CT with rectal contrast shown above demonstrate epiploic appendagitis. There is a fatty mass with some surrounding inflammatory changes anterior to the right colon/cecum. The patient's signs and symptoms abated within 48 hours after pain and anti-inflammatory therapy.
