This 26 y/o male presented with a thyroid mass and an ultrasound guided biopsy was performed. Selected images from his abdominal CT shown above demonstrate a mass in the right adrenal. The ultrasound guided biopsy of the thyroid had yielded a diagnosis of medullary thyroid carcinoma. Surgical resection of the adrenal mass revealed a pheochromocytoma and the diagnosis of multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2A was made.
