This 73 y/o male was referred to MRI for evaluation of unsteady gait. Selected pre & post gadolinium enhanced images of the posterior fossa shown above demonstrate a small enhancing mass at the meatus of the left internal auditory canal, consistent with an acoustic neuroma. Increasing clinical symptomatology ultimately led to surgical resection which confirmed the diagnosis.
