This 34 y/o male was referred to MRI for evaluation of back pain. Selected pre and post gadolinium images are shown above (T1W, T1W fat saturated post gad, T2W, and STIR). CT guided aspiration and culture confirmed a pyogenic infectious spondylodiscitis from enterococcus.
