Zenith G500 cosmetic and electronic restoration by Radio Doc, San Francisco Bay Area.

This restored 1950 Zenith G500
is a great example of the rarest model of the Trans-Oceanic series.

The early model 1000 is my favorite of Zenith's T-O series. Really clean examples like this one are becoming difficult to find.Exceptional sets without dents, dings, bubbles in the plated finish, cracks in the carrying handle, wear in the gold tone finish around the knobs, or interior corrosion are selling for four to five times "book value."
