SNAIL NEWS

February 1, 2003

More updates from Snail headquarters...... Azalia has just returned from England where she recorded her new album "Sylvan Echoes" with Acme's Gary Ramon at Third Eye Studios.
Recorded on all vintage gear, including mellotron and Hammond B-3, it is a more rockin' Snail than you've ever heard -- opening with an irresistible tune called "Honeysuckle" & continuing with a bevy of catchy songs and one or two of the classic soft space tunes that she has been known for ..... look for the release later this year.

In late March, she'll be back on stage with angelic-voiced Nate Ashley, who has 4 brilliant albums of his own to date. Also in early March, watch for the debut of Azalia's documentary "The Stoner" featuring her music plus the divinely beautiful songs of Illyah Kuryahkin. We will also report news of her music in other feature films as soon as we have confirmation.

Greetings!
It's been awhile since we had a chance to update our site....due to a location move by chief executive administrator Carrie Schultz, but she has now settled into her digs close to Azalia Snail in lovely Silverlake, Los Angeles.
In the latest Snail news, she is now recording more tracks for an upcoming album and preparing for a much-anticipated cross country tour. Look for May/June dates coming soon.
Locally, she'll be playing at the cool new record shop in Echo Park, Sea Level, on Thursday, May 9th with local rock fixtures She Said Yeah and the next day on KXLU's Friday Afternoon Show. On May 15th, she's at Zen on Hyperion Avenue.
Promise to write more soon....keep writing & letting us know what's up with you.
