Studied light’s partner…shadow… dark, transparent, shapely. Basked in, baked in, swam, slept, dreamt, sketched and painted the light, like my mother’s light touch, brushing the hair back from my high white brow, to lie serene on my grandmother’s patchwork quiet. It’s still the same. We’re all here.
