Workshop Announcements
I am pleased
to announce the continuation of the workshop series previously offered
by Meteorological Standards Institute. With the passing of Tom Lockhart
I did not want the value of the workshops to be lost, and therefore decided
to continue the series that we had developed over the last decade. While
it was personally a great loss for me, and professionally a great loss to
the community, Tom and I had prepared for the eventual "handing off of the
baton" for workshops. Consequently I am moving forward with the task. Tom
was my mentor for almost two decades, and I have embedded his ideals in quality
assurance and much of his knowledge of measurements in my every day work.
This next workshop is scheduled for the spring of 2003. While the date
of the workshop is still being finalized, I am posting this announcement to
help develop an interest list of potential attendees. A link to the most current
workshop announcement is provided below.
