Chocolate Syrup
This is very similar to, yet better than, Hershey's sauce.

Preparation:
Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with wooden spoon until sauce mixture comes to a full rolling boil. Reduce heat to low & cook for 6-10 minutes (or until finger drawn aver back of spoon leaves a clear trail in the sauce). Stir in vanilla extract, cover lightly and set aside to cool. When bottom of pan is comfortable to the touch pour sauce into containers & refrigerate.
Yield: 2 cups
