Greetings, Friends!
Greetings from my new home on the Western Slope of CO. I'm totally in love with
this new locale, and am very excited to record a new solo album here.
I have my first solo gig in over 5 years coming up in Paonia! It's happening on Friday, Sept. 26 at 9pm as part of the Mountain

I just finished an amazing and deep tour with Bobby McFerrin & Voicestra. This
group has some of the most amazing musicians and all around awesome spirits I've had the privilege to work with.

Hall was fun, and for me, Denver was great. I had so many friends and family there. It meant so much.

Waning are days of CDs. Welcome to now. There are many reasons for celebrating the reduction of CD production. Personally,
my favorite is the fact that I'm not producing more plastic, and virgin paper wrapped in throw away plastic. It's an environmentalist's
dream!
For those of you who don't know me, yet, I am a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist,
and composer, who began playing piano at age 2. My early musical influences were "Batman," "Star Trek," and "Dr. Zhivago."
"I'm a Little Leopard Prowling Around in Sneakers" was my first musical composition at age 8. I have a 4-octave soprano voice,
and play piano, keyboards, santour (hammered dulcimer), dumbek, daff, guitar, flute, and various other toys that I can get
my hands on. My music combines influences from the Balkans, the Middle East, and India with my Western upbringing. I currently
perform solo, and sing with Bobby McFerrin's Voicestra.
