....With a strong background in sales and customer service, acquired through 30 plus years of experience in the corporate
world, Kathy Laurent knows the importance of listening to clients, and giving full attention to the details. "Having
a plan is the key to realizing your dream, regardless of your walk in life. You can't get there if you don't know where you
are going!"
....Kathy's ambition to work with interior design elements began early in life. As a young child, her father, who is a
building contractor and custom furniture builder, would take her to his job sites. "Just the smell of sawdust and fresh
cut lumber takes me back there. I associate it with the ability we all have to build whatever we can dream." Those experiences,
coupled with her mother's influence to be creative and skillfully accessorize, formed the foundation of her passion for working
in the interior design field. While working with a designer on her own home project, she was so taken by color, fabric, and
design that she accepted a position working with her Interior Designer.
....Over the years she has worked on both commercial and residential projects, and has completed an advanced education
program and received her ICD certificate from Heritage School of Interior Design.
...."Having traveled through Asia, The Netherlands, and Europe, and having lived in many areas of the United States,
I feel I have a strong feeling for the diversity of life, and can work with anyone's lifestyle, existing furnishings, and
investment potential."
