Well, you may be noticing that
Pandamonium is gone. Two reasons for that.
The first is that my bizarre combination of software that I'm using to maintain the other parts of my site (the parts that I'm preparing to put online now) doesn't want to cooperate with the blogging software. Or, more specifically, the blogging software doesn't want to coordinate with the rest of it.
The second, and actually more compelling, reason is that frankly, keeping up the blog wasn't worth the trouble anymore. Blogging is a fad, and fads come and go, and all I was using it for was to pontificate at random. If I want to do that, I can use
my Kuro5hin Diary for that.
Fact is, I've got too many other things I'm wanting to do with this site to keep wasting time trying to get the blog to work. I've got several sections I want to be getting open over the next few months. And that's not going to happen if all I'm doing is hacking blog software to work.
So
Pandamonium will be no more. Considering how infrequently I updated it, no big loss. If you're looking for one of the back articles (
my article about SSRI withdrawal is
still a popular hit from Google, almost a year after I wrote it), they'll all be on
my Kuro5hin Diary soon. (The SSRI article already is; I posted it there a few days after I blogged it.)
In the meantime, be prepared for some more interesting updates to
Quantumpanda.com, including the opening of the Psi Phi Columbus site!
