ETI was founded in the early 1970's by a group of scientists and educatorswho recognized that a gap existed between University training and the trainingrequired to stay abreast of new and evolving developments influencing theirown specialties. Today, ETl's training goals have expanded to include continuingeducation programs tailored to the special needs of engineers, managers, programmers, scientists and technicians. The objective of these programsis to raise the students' comprehension beyond the knee of the learningcurve, enabling them to apply their new skills immediately in their jobs.
Many of ETl's courses incorporate hands-on training in specially configuredworkshop environments. Using personal computers and other ETI provided trainers, students complete assignments which enhance their skills and understandingof the often extremely complex subjects under study. Other classes affordexposure to highly specialized, often one-of-a-kind, equipment providedby ETI for classroom demonstrations of the latest technology. This combinationof handson training with in-class demonstrations motivates the studentsand makes ETI continuing education programs come alive.
Programs are generally offered in one of three formats:
Short Courses- Two to five days in duration, designedand tailored to your needs.
Technology Updates- One-half to one-day overviews, forgeneral audiences
Certification Programs- A series of short courses withspecific learning and skills ovjectives, validated through testing.
