Yin Paul Quade's Philosophical Side Yang

In 1974 a friend of mine gave me a copy of the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tsu translated by Gia-fu Feng and Jane English.

Legend has it that Lao Tsu was the librarian in Loyang, the ancient capital of China during the sixth century B.C.. Seeing the decline of the society he lived in, he decided to leave and go into the desert. At the Han-ku Pass, he was stopped by a gatekeeper named Yin Hsi, who knew of his reputation for wisdom and convinced him to write down the essence of his teachings.

The Tao Te Ching has been one of the major underlying influences of Chinese thought and culture for 2,600 years. It is said that the thought behind the internal styles of Kung Fu; Tai Chi, Hsing-I and Paqua, are rooted in the Tao Te Ching.

Additionally, I'm also studying the art of Feng Shui.
