Shakespeare” ”Yorick’s
Marionettes Play Shakespeare” brings us a refreshing look at
Shakespeare’s most famous plays and what may have been in the mind of
the bard when he created his characters. Introduced by the
“Fool”, a reoccurring character in his plays, the master himself answers
questions about
life and destiny. Supported by a magnificent cast of marionettes and moving objects sculpted by Dusan
Petran, the play offers a unique interpretation based on an original script by Agnes
Novak, weaved in with
original text from Shakespeare. Funded by Yorick’s

Blind Dates of Colombine” Based on the Commedia Dell’ Arte’s
humoristic style with a modern twist. Columbine looks for “husband material” on the net
while Harlequin sets up a prank at the expense of Pierrot….

“Counting Out the Trees” Pinocchio, Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel and other famous fairy tale characters come together to find out the
mystery of disappearing trees. Fairy Queen summons an emergency meeting under the full moon. A wonderful cast of marionettes entertains children aged 5 to

“The Adventures of
Pinocchio” Carlo Collodi’s
Pinocchio is adapted here into a gentle and simplified tale for children 3 to
99 years old. The story of Pinocchio is
recounted by his maker, Gepetto. The old man does not understand why Pinocchio never listens to good advice. As he ventures into the world, he encounters different
characters and is always saved from trouble by the Blue
Fairy who tries to teach him that good children always listen to their parents.
After saving Pinocchio from the belly of the whale, Blue Fairy figures out that
the reason why Pinocchio does not listen is that Gepetto forgot to carve his ears! All is well in the end as
