Thee Oh No's formed in August of 1997. They were three guys who wanted to play the music they loved and get girls. The girls never came around but almost five years later the band is still playing their energetic brand of 60's garage music.
The current lineup is Mr. Moto Ohno (guitar/organ/vocals), Drain Ohno (guitar/vocals), King Sunny Ohno (drums), and Bost-Ohno (bass). Donned in black skimasks, Thee Oh No's gained quite a reputation for their wild, stupid stage shows that pleased audiences and scared club owners and soundmen alike. This got them shows with bands like Man or Astroman?, The New Bomb Turks, The Hi Fives, Captured by Robots, Deadbolt, The Bomboras, The Satan's Pilgrims and The Legendary Invisible Men. Thee Oh No's have released their self titled CD and in 2007 released "Down in The Dumps", a 4-song vinyl only EP. Now let's get up close and personal with the boys.

Mr. Moto Oh No is one of the founding members of the band, and also was a member of The Eightballs and The Tellers. Moto plays guitar, organ and harmonica and is also one of the main songwriters in the band. Interesting facts about Moto is he's an ordained minister, his favorite drink is a black russian and on rare occassions has been known to break dance.

Drain Oh No is the near sighted guitar player and other founding member. He's been playing guitar since he was seven and was the guitar player in the Arizona surf quintet The Markdowns and the short lived band The Beatoffs. Drain once ran an anarchist record store in Canada until the authorities ran him out of the country claiming he was turning the kids against canadian bacon, and hockey. And also his refusal to call the letter "z" Zed. When he's not writing songs about beer and urine, Drain likes to taunt rival bands to the point of tears.

King Sunny Oh No provides the driving beat that gives the band it's raucous sound. His solid playing has made him a hot commodity in the local music scene and is currently playing in 5 bands! King Sunny doesn't have a lot of free time but when he has a free moment he likes to build furniture or sculpt with clay.

Bost-Oh No joined the band in late 2007 and not much is known about him. We discovered this connection to Boston, MA when we saw him eating a bowl of Boston, baked beans while going on and on about The Redsoxs and kept pronoucing words like car, and charge, funny. We know he likes his PBR, don't even think about taking his PBR away from him, and we know he plays a mean ass bass guitar.
