Rental fee does not include set-up or cleanup, these can be arranged for an additional fee. Renters are responsible for cleanup

House Guidelines
MembershipThe Pullen House is a nonprofit facility, but membership for use is required. The annual fee for membership is based on the date of your first function. Annual membership fees are not pro rated. There are no refunds on membership fees. In the event of inclement weather, an event may be rescheduled for another date or the amount refunded in full. The membership fee for individuals is $50, and applies only to immediate family members of the original membership applicant, and the for businesses/organazations is $100. Business memberships may not be used for personal functions, and personal memberships may not be used for business functions. The membership fee is not included in any rentals fees, and is a completely seperate fee.
Rental FeesRental fee charges are in addition to any membership fees, and are on a per rental basis. This fee varies from $25 to $300 depending on type of function and number of people attending an event. A request for use must be filled out and returned to the Pullen House. This request will go before the trustees for approval and a rental fee will be determined. This amount is due within 5 business days of the acceptance of the request. This amount is refundable up to 4 business days before the date of an event. The amount may also be transferred to another date. Please see the price list for an idea of rates.
Hours of availibility The Pullen House is available most days at 8am. Events must be over by 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and by 10pm on Sundays through Thursdays. The Pullen House is in a residential area, therefor music that can be heard off of the property is NOT ALLOWED. Noise complaints can result in the loss of membership.
SmokingSmoking is NOT permitted in the Pullen House nor at the side entrance to the house. Smoking is permitted on the rear deck, front porch (by Durant Road), and in the parking lot.
ParkingPlease keep in mind that there are only 20 parking places available at the Pullen House, one of which is handicapped. Parking is NOT permissible in grassy areas, but is allowed along the driveway.
Food/Beverage Food and beverages are allowed at the Pullen House. Alcohol is allowed, but the Pullen House is not responsible for guest's actions. Catering services are allowed. The Pullen House< has a catering kitchen that is available for use. The microwave, stove, refridgerator, serving utensils and the sink may be used without an extra fee. Plates, cups, bowls, and flatware are available for an additional fee.
Audio/Visual A stereo, TV, and VCR are available at no additional fee, but there is no guarantee such equipment will be operational. DJ's are permitted w/ approval from the Pullen House and must follow the hours of availibilty guidelines. The use of LCD projectors, DVD players, and other electronic A/V devices are permitted for use at the Pullen House. Nails or any other type of hanging device may not be put into the walls, or the walls damaged by such equipment.
Setup/Cleanup/TrashThe Pullen House is availble to anyone at a very low cost. In order to maintain our low fees, guests are asked to place all trash in trash bags. At the end of an event they are asked to place trash bags< in outside trash cans, or if possible remove the trash from the property themselves. Any glass brought onto the property needs to also be removed from the property when the renters leave. At the end of each function please TURN OFF ALL LIGHTS and LOCK ALL DOORS. Please place all chairs and tables back in the storage room, in their proper place at the end of your function. There is an optional $10 set-up/breakdown fee, if you would like for a Pullen House representative to set-up and/or break-down any chairs or tables, before or after your function.
Damage to facilityWe understand that no one rents the Pullen House with intentions of causing damage to it, but in the event that something is damaged or broken, either the item needs to be replaced, or the cost of the damage paid to the Pullen House. Excess amounts of damage during an event will result in loss of membership.
