Webmaster's Rate Sheet
A Client must begin by payment of a minimum retainer of $150.00 for the first month of commitment
for the Webmaster, Philbrook Sargent, to start the development of a Client Web Site.
(As a simple worksheet, click the check boxes you think may apply, print pages and circle extras.)

1. Obtain a Domain Name (yourname.com) and establish a web site host. (Client is responsible for the monthly and/or annual fees and charges, which will be defined prior to set-up).

3. Design a Home Page at direction of the client. (Basic HTML)

c. Set up a CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). (Provides the same look on every page)

Requirements for Client

1. Description of Business and Products up to 10,000 words, in an e-mail to philosx@earthlink.net or on a CD-ROM in Word (.doc) or (.txt) format.
2. All graphic or pictures must be identified in their filename in the following formats: (a) GIF, (b) JPG (If other formats are submitted, an attempt to convert to JPG at an added cost, see 6c above).
3. A written description (25 - 35) words of your Web Site. (This will be used in the Metafiles [hidden in the Home Page] for search engines to present when found on a search)
4. 10 to 30 keywords, likewise, the search engines use the hidden Metafiles for search.

Custom Artwork Pages and Document Conversion
1) Custom artwork, marquee text, logo design and similar as in the sample

2) Pages using frames, typical 3 frame: topFrame, leftFrame, & mainFrame

3) Documents of any length converted, in color, to PDF (Portable Document Format), for cross-platform compatibility.

1) Using Color on the Internet: 216 Web Safe colors are available. Color definitely adds to interest and attraction, but must be pleasing to the viewer.

b) Adding color to Web Pages, any 3 Web Safe colors per page

1) All AV (audio/visual) files must be in QuickTime formats:

a) Slide shows in video format, (MOV) converted for streaming on the Internet. (These must be tested for downloading times)
b) Video in MOV format, converted for streaming on the Internet.

Special Request/Computer Consultant/Training

A) All special requests will be considered and priced separately with a detailed Statement of Work, sign-off by the Client and Owner.
B) For consultant work at your site/home a charge of $50.00/hour with a 2 hour minimum, to be paid at the conclusion of the task by check or cash.
