About Phil Sargent & Family

Mr. Sargent's full name is Philbrook Foss Sargent. Click and send him a message, psargent32@earthlink.net . Phil was born in Boston, MA on March 15, 1932. He moved to Chattanooga, TN where he was raised. He attended school in Chattanooga and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. degree in Engineering Physics. He was married to Jean Lesley until February 1987 and they had two daughters, Kristina Lynn and Nikkie Maria. In January 1988, Phil married Nancy Hall Lovitt. They currently reside in Apopka, Florida where Phil is the owner of Sargent Products & Services.

Mr. Sargent has been involved with the PENguins Toastmasters Club, helping people overcome their fears of speaking in public. He was a tutor and computer lab manager for the non-profit firm, Hi-Tech Tutoring Center, Inc. and works with "at risk" kids to aid them in their study and learning habits. Phil is a past president of the Mid-Orlando Chapter #5046 of the AARP, Inc. He has published their monthly newsletter, The Star, since 1995. As background, Mr. Sargent has spent over thirty years in the defense electronics business, working for many major companies, some now merged or out of business. His primary area of specialization has been in the field of countermeasures: optical, infrared and acoustic.
