This website is dedicated to the ultimate sacrifice made by our soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the world and for the grief and loss felt by their families and friends.  Presenting these families with a prayer shawl in remembrance of their loved one is a small token of our compassion and appreciation.

If you would like to send a hand-knit prayer shawl to a fallen soldier’s family, click the "Prayer Shawl Request" link below.  Please write "Prayer Shawl Request" in the subject line of your email.

Please include your name and city/state to allow me to keep a demographic record.  I will then reply with the soldier’s name, his/her date of death, and the name and address of his/her next of kin.  It is a priority to try to match you with a family who lives close to your home town.  If you want to send the shawl to a different region/town, let me know and I’ll try to comply. (Please note: The family’s address should be kept confidential, used only for this gift, as specified by the Army.)
