Hi all. My name is Paul.
My wife Deborah and I live in Warrenton. It's a small town about 60 miles west of ST. Louise Missouri. Deb. has lived her
whole live here and has a large number of relatives. I was born in Chicago and lived everywhere ells. My dads job sent us
all over the United States. Between Deb's family and mine it can get hectic around the holidays. Makes it fun around Christmas
and Thanksgiving. You have to juggle the time to try to make it to all the planed events. However everyone comes here for
Halloween.
Or first Halloween haunt was out of necessity. We had just had our sewer redone and there was a large burm of dirt running
through the center of our front yard. Living in town we knew we'd get lots of TOTs so we had to do something to keep the kids
off of the dirt. Our solution was to get a pick up truck load of fallen limbs from the in-law's place. Stuck them into the
dirt and covered them with 'spider webbing'. Lit this from underneath with two borrowed strobes. Stuffed some 'dead bodies'
and made really cheesy heads for them. Carved a couple of Jack-o-lanterns and put a boom box in the kitchen window blaring
some old Sepultura and WALA! our small towns very first Halloween yard haunt. Both the TOTs and there parents had a blast.
Now we get them from the surrounding towns as well.
