Did a few new things this year. For starts I used a different spray for my hair and beard. Unfortunately this stuff came
out like a powder and didn't mat up. But it did a good job coloring it anyway. I also used a dust mask painted up with a simple
toothy grin. Gave me an ape like look. Someone reached up and pulled my beard thinking they'd unmask me. I don't know who
was more surprised. LOL Had a great time this year. I added LOTS of light to our haunt. Had nine 85 watt colored spots,
3 strands of orange mini lights, one 65 watt light at the exit and a strand of c7 Christmas lights over the dead clown graveyard.
Plus the light form our candelabras. The place was lit up like a rock concert. A word of wisdom for anyone looking to
put up a yard display. Dark and dim = missed and unseen. LIGHT is where it's at! We got more compliments and pictures taken
this year than all the previous. People saw everything.
The pictures below are mostly of new props. Some made last year but because of the weather weren't able to be displayed.

Using wood I got for free out of the trash form work I made framework and wrapped it all in spider webbing. Did
have ripped up trashbags covering all the wood but the wind the day before stripped most of it off. The frames went along
our sidewalk and jetted out into the haunt to help block the view. Lit it all form underneath. See the left foot
of that cheesy skeleton? Part of it is still melted to that green light. LOL

New this year is 12 1/2 ft of fence. The slime is Great Stuff spray foam. In the tradition of being as frugal ( cheep
cuz I aint got the cash ) as possible all the wood used was scrap from the trash at work. The plastic pipe used for the fence
uprights I got at an auction for .50 cents. Lanterns $1.50 for both. Ya, I splurged on the spray foam. About
$9.00 for the two cans it took to do all the fence. But the look is worth the cost. Not counting the screws, glue and paint
I built this fence for $11.00. The lanterns aren't attached so we can use them for camping and Christmas as well.
And speaking of splurging on spray foam. OK, more like getting hooked on this stuff. LOL This is one of two candelabras.
It's about 5 1/2 ft. tall to the upper light. The chain is also home made using spray foam. All 60+ feet of it. Can never
have to much chain. The base and structure for the candelabras is again free wood. I bought a box of 7 three and five light
Christmas candelabras for .50 cents at an auction. Wire nuts, wire, electrical tape and other safety things for a total of
$17.00+. Yes, these are the most expensive props I've made to date.
The coffins are made form the same homosote our tombstones are. The crosses are free wood and spray foam.
Also new this year is the plastic used for the fence going around the outside of our haunt. Broke down and bought a 50
ft. roll of this stuff. No more spending over an hour trying to string trash bags up. The orange mini lights I got last year
after Halloween at 75% off. I borrowed some of the colored spots and fixtures from a friend. The rest I got for 75% off
last year after Christmas. However I did have to buy a few colored spot light bulbs.

Sort of new this year is our Woman Corps. She stood between the two candelabras behind the fence. She's made from one
of the three stand up corpses I made. Didn't like the way it turned out so I pulled it apart. To disguise all the duct tape
I used to piece it back together I dressed it up. The 'dress' is a sheet bought in a box of stuff really cheap ( getting tiered
of typing '.50 cents'. LOL) at an auction. Cheese cloth is also a really cheap auction buy.

And finally for this year our Dead Clown Graveyard. Meat Prickle. He's paper mache and cardboard. Teeth are bread clay.
The Circus style tombstone behind him is made of the same homosote all our tombstones are made from. Free from the dumpsters
at work. Free is good.

Meet Cheecks the dead clown. He's cardbaord and paper mache. Nose is a ping-pong ball. Hair is dryer lint mache.

And one of my favorites, Bubbles the dead Clown. All paper mache and cardboard with no added structure or support. Hair
is dryer lint mache. The circus styled tombstone behind him is wood slats and homosote.

Meet Ropy the dead Clown. He's also paper mache with no internal supports. Hair is painted fun fur.
Clowns Dave didn't get good shots of are Strong Arm and Pointy.
