The God Key

I was getting ready to take a shower when I noticed (my brother) Mark’s spare key which is on a blue piece of string, lying on the floor. I picked it up and I was very sad at the time. When I picked it up I had the idea that it should be very important for some reason. So I was thinking; then out of nowhere I came up with, “The God Key.” It was strange because It almost felt like Jesus was telling me to make a saying for it that would help me get through constant situations in school. Anyway, this is what I came up with.

Get a key that you don’t need and tie it on a string around your neck, wearing it with respect. Write the following saying on a piece of paper so that you will have it later when you are going through a difficult time.

When in doubt about something you can’t talk about;

Just say a prayer

And know who’s there.

Squeeze this key real tight

And know everything will be alright.

I felt like Jesus wanted or told me to do this. After I did it, all of a sudden I felt relaxed and relieved.

Good News

In John 3:16 in the New Testament Jesus said, " For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." In Acts 4: 12 the bible says "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Paul the Apostle states in the book of Romans 10: 9-10, "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
