Jerry Garcia is alive and on the road, again!

Seems many Frisco moons ago,

Jerry would jam with a few close friends,

in and out of the recording studio.

This band, featuring Melvin Seals,

original J.G.B keyboard player for 15 years,

is helping to keep the good Garcia's

legacy kickin' A in a most joyous way.

Together with Gloria Jones,

original Jerry Gospel singer since 1984

and Shirley Starks singing gloriously,

the addition of an unknown yet superb electric guitarist by

the name of Judah Gold takes it to the

grateful heights of pure entertainment.

Well, blown away is more like it,

the audience that is, comprised of

all ages and musical categorization.

After being kept on stage for nearly three hours

(remember how long the G.D. would play for?)

by a screaming crowd,

Melvin smiled and announced,

"We're from up north (Bay Area),

first time here at the Key

Club. I had a good time playin' for everyone.

We appreciate all the love.

We just came from L.A.X,

traveling here

and it ís so nice to be

appreciated!"

Gloria and Shirley add, "God Bless everyone,

we are so happy, we've had

lot's of fun here tonight and

are glad everyone enjoyed the show!"

"I"m happy making people happy, we try hard to entertain,

" says Melvin,

"I do my best, Bless you all.

It's been our pleasure!"

"We hope all of our shows are as good as tonight's",

the two divas add,

blowing us a kiss on their way down south,

on to the next J.G.B. gig.

Jerry would be proud.
