AFTER THE OLYMPIC AUDITORIUM SHOW 1985,

I WENT TO THE SPORTSMAN'S HALL GIG,

THE NEXT DAY,

AND GAVE THE BAND A COPY

OF THEIR PERFORMANCE

and told them I hoped they liked it....

THAT'S ALL,

I DID NOT ASK TO sell the tape,

but at the end of Dick's Letter-

he says he did not mean to dissapoint me?

WHY- THEY ARE SO GREAT,

I was happy just to present them with a copy!!!

TEXT 1985 OF LETTER

Dear Louis,

're your video of us at the Olympic, L.A.

last month- having seen it we think it would

be ok for cable TV, but definately not good

enough for retail sale in shops- the one

camera limitation of angle on the whole

performance cannot be consistently good viewing

for more than one or two showings, and the

sound is lacking in depth, most notably

the bass+ drum-sound- we think people would

expect a lot more for $16 (or whatever price)

than this- Also quite a few of the tracks aren't

worthy of repeated viewing due to the out of

tune guitars, mistakes, etc., that marr the

overall performance. Sorry if this goes against

your expectations, but that's how we feel-

if you want to use one or two tracks on any

future compilation tape- please let us know,

that would be a better idea.
