Arts ~ Film “The Village Beautification Project and Historic Documentation”
The 4th Street Art Organization would like to help beautify the Village section of Jersey City along with creating a visual
history of the way the area once flourished.
To begin, 4th Street will curate the creation of a mural on Brunswick
between 2nd & 3rd Street – this mural which will be 80 feet x 30 feet will be painted by our own local artists
and will depict the once grand beauty that Brunswick Street was. The second piece of this project will be the consolidation
of treasure trove of found media that details the wonders of this area from 35 years ago in a film. This will be created in majority by 4th Street's own film maker and Jersey
City resident, Pat Byrne. Pat will balance the history of the film with more contemporary additions and interviews. Creative Grove Artist & Designer Market ~ Multimedia “Weekly Artist Market” The weekly event fosters visibility, and
art connection in the community, network, marketplace and the magnet through which new ideas surge. The artist market
also contributes strongly to community development with the cultural platform, economic chance to working artists, starting
artists and designers, deejays, musicians, performers, new or existing initiatives, students. 58 Gallery ~ Multimedia “Save 58”
