Simple Responsive Reverence

[NOTE: The wording of the Reverence is unimportant, but the meaning of the Signposts needs to be stated.]

Six candles of various colors are laid out in a circle -- clockwise they are: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. A white candle is placed in the center. These candles represent the Signposts of the Path. They are: Devotion (red), Wisdom (orange), Realization (yellow), Action (green), Compassion (blue), Celebration (violet), and Harmony (white).

• All: "... and our search for wholeness."
• [red candle or torch]
• Leader: "We look to the love within ourselves ..."
• All: "... for the answers are there."
• [orange candle or torch]
• Leader: "We grow in wisdom ...."
• All: "... by learning from our experiences."
• [yellow candle or torch]
• Leader: "We find sacredness within ourselves ..."
• All: "... for we are children of the Divine."
• [green candle or torch]
• Leader: "We will protect the Web of Life ..."
• All: "... for all life is sacred."
• [blue candle or torch]
• Leader: "We will be compassionate toward others ..."
• All: "... for the sacredness within them demands our respect."
• [purple candle or torch]
• Leader: "We will celebrate diversity ..."
• All: "... for our differences make all things more complete."
• [white candle or torch]
• Leader: "Harmony is our goal ..."
• All: "... all things cooperating together."
• All: "Blessed Be and Blessed Do!"
