Your brown, long-haired pachyderms prance among the snowy sand-dunes as you near your campsight. The ground seems as though the fabric of a great quilt. Suddenly, one of the great beasts falls and his comrade struggles to help him to his feet. Then there is a great noise.
The sand at first seems to change to quicksand, as though you are inside an hour-glass. The sand seems intent to swallow you whole. Then the reason becomes clear.
A huge section of the ground quickly falls away, revealing itself to be part of a great cliff far, far above a seashore. There is a bustling city down below.
Both of your steeds have fallen away and vaished. At last it becomes clear to you that this mysterious city is some sort of goal which has mysteriously appeared before you; some sort of pre-destined point of arrival. You find a passage in the cliff which leads down and slowly begin your descent down the huge rock face.
Meanwhile, far below in the city something is happening. You have the odd sensation that you are in the city learning some great task, while at the same time climbing down the rock face toward the city you've never seen before. Your body continues to climb down the cliff as your spirit watches what happens in the city below.
In one of the small earthen buildings below, there is a small alcove. And sitting in that alcove are a young child and an old holy teacher. You recognize this teacher, who is speaking to the child. As you watch, the teacher hands the child a wooden bucket of water. The teacher says, "This is spiritual water and it is important for you to hold it for the healing that will follow. You will carry it with you for a time, but a day will come when you will pass the water on to someone else. Eventually, this water will lead to a great healing for the world."
As you reach the city, you are drawn to a certain small building. As you enter you realize that it is a holy sanctum. The alcove is immediately to your left. It backs against the same wall as the door. Within it are seated the old teacher and child. You suddenly realize that you are the child!
You attempt to ask the teacher the questions on your mind, but another person has entered with many questions for the sage. So you retreat to the upper alcove of the building, where there are many small gold-colored trinkets.
Above, you see several small, diamond-shaped ornaments decorated with very tiny candles of different colors. You are told that these are ritual candle-holders. You are then shown one and told that it was the same as one you used in a ritual years ago. You are told the same thing about many of the others. And some of them are from rituals you have ahead of you.
The room now becomes well-lit as you return to your self . . .
