This book took three years to assemble and a lifetime of collecting and researching bringing a whole new approach to Van Briggle collecting. Prior to this book, collectors and authors had only focused on the standard pottery line, but the Van Briggle pottery, partly through necessity, designed and sold many unique and custom items. Since no records exist, the full extent and number of these items may never be fully known, but the authors have made great strides in re-assembling some of the lost Van Briggle history along with many never before seen items produced by the pottery.
