Sigmund Freud (1856-1939)
Austrian neurologist, founder of psychoanalysis.
History
Born in Freiberg, Moravia, Austrian Empire, Freud received his degree
from the University of Vienna in 1881. Freud studied in Paris for a time
before returning to Vienna to begin publishing his works on
psychoanalysis.
