Probably the most famous of all conspiracy claims. Lets discuss a few of the facts.
The most obvious dispute
is the magic bullet theory. How can one bullet go back and forth through two men causing seven injuries, including taking
a 45 degree right turn in mid air. Then it is found on the table at the autopsy room, not at the scene, without a scratch
on it. Through and through bullets usually are so damaged by the path they take through bones etc, that many times they can
not be used as evidence. The Senate Congressional Subcommittee on Assassinations in 1978 itself ruled that the murder was
a conspiracy and found there had to be a second shooter.
The Zapruder tape and witnesses interviewed then prove there
was a gunman infront of the car, the area mentioned as the grassy knoll. The film captures the bullet striking Kennedy and
proves the trajectory was from in fornt, not behind where Oswald would have in in the book depositor building. Cigarette butts
were found there as if someone was there for a considerable amount of time watching.
JFK's brain is missing and has
been since the autopsy. It was "lost" during transport from Dallas to Washington, DC. There were several unnamed "government
agents" in the autopsy. The autopsy report and photographs were forged and parts of the files are missing. The pathologists
and the doctors who treated Kennedy at Parkland Hospital in Dallas concur.
It is not a secret that the CIA and military
personnel disagreed with Kennedy's foreign policy. Long blamed on Kennedy, the Bay of Pigs fiasco was not his fault. It failed
because Kennedy ordered that it not take place after a year of planning and refused to fund it. The CIA had to use a different
approach to do it in secret. The military viewed his handling of the Cuban missle crisis as weakness. JFK had the gaul to
"negotiate" with Krushcev. And with his desire to pull out of Vietnman, the CIA and military accused Kennedy of being soft
on Communism. The 1960's was arguably the height of the Cold War. With all the bickering, Kennedy did the unthinkable. He
took the control and power, during peacetime, of the military out of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and unto himself. Curiously
enough, when LBJ was sworn in as president in that airplane hanger his first act as president had nothing to do with an investigation
of JFK's killer(s) or policy. He gave back peacetime control of the military back to the Joint Chiefs. Did LBJ know anything?
Lee Harvey Oswald was employed by the CIA. He was a marine and then recruited as a spy. In 1960 he defects to the
Soviet Union. He returns two years later, with a Russian wife no less, and is issued a new United States passport within 48
hours, no questions asked. How, at the height of the cold war does this happen. He wasn't coming from France. A spy gives
up his citizenship to the enemy and then gets a new passport without any questions in two days? Then he infiltrates an organisation
in New Orleans supporting Cuba. His assignment was to report on their plans. Many pictures released to the press of
Oswald, including the infamous one of him holding a rifle were doctored. Oswald was painted in the light of being a
communist threat.
Dealey Plaza in Dallas. Several things were against procedure. First the route. It was changed at
the last minute. Who authorised that? The original route was supposed to be a straight parade, not around blind corners through
a canyon like plaza. Dealey Plaza was not at all part of the original parade route. The new route was like shooting
fish in a barrel. The open limosine was against procedure. So were the amount of security personnel. Instead of 1500,
there were less than 500. Who approved all these changes? The State Department official in charge of presidential safety wasn't
even there. He was out of the country. Only the CIA and the military have the power and personnel to get this done. After
the shooting, the secret service and FBI blocked the Dallas police efforts to interview witnesses and investigate the incident
fully, especially around the grassy knoll. The FBI had advance knowledge of the shooting, including details of how it was
to go down and the Secret Service ignored it. J. Edgar Hoover was in Dallas at the time of the shooting.
The mob connection.
Why did Jack Ruby shoot Oswald? If Oswald acted alone because he was "disgruntled", what could be his motive? Ruby was a mob
kingpin who was supplying CIA trained militas with guns to go to Cuba and overthrow Castro in a Bay of Pigs repeat Oswald
must have known he was set up. Sent to Russia on a phony mission, then trying to free Cuba? What would happen if Oswald talked.
Ruby made sure that didn't happen. Its a classic case of killing the assassin (or the patsy) to keep everything quiet.
Mob boss John Bonnano claims in his book that fellow mobster John Roselli admitted to him in prison that he was the one on
the grassy knoll.
