This page and the two that follow (see links below) show various photographic highlights from a four day late-April trip
to one of my favorite spots on earth: Ft. De Soto Park in Pinellas County, Florida. At Ft. De Soto, shorebirds, terns, and
waders are usually the order of the day. In late April there may also sometimes be spectacular fallouts of migrant songbirds,
but persistent south winds remained with us throughout our visit, so I was content to remain stuck to North Beach and East
Beach like glue...
