Pennsylvania has seen at least 10 Say's Phoebes in its history, but none since 1998 until this bird was found at Maple Knoll Farms in central Bucks County on December 13. It remained in place through at least the 19th when these photos were made, and was seen by many birders, thanks to the graciousness and hospitality of Richard and Vicky Smith and their friends the Crookes, owners of the farms where the bird has been seen.
