Ash-throated Flycatcher - November 22, 2009

Ash-throated Flycatcher at Mt. Gretna, Lebanon County, PA
Pennsylvania's fourth (pending acceptance) Ash-throated Flycatcher came in the form of this remarkably confiding bird near Mt. Gretna, Lebanon County. Despite the bird's approachability and fearlessness, it proved remarkably difficult to photograph "cleanly" ... it was most often obscured by branches or shadows, and when it perched in the open it never stayed still very long. But who's complaining...
The bird was very successful foraging for insects, as evidenced by the first photo below.
