We believe
in God, the Father Almighty,
the
Creator of heaven and earth,
and
in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord and Savior.
We believe
in the inerrant word of God
because
Jesus is that Word who became man,
conceived
of the Holy Spirit,
born
of the virgin, Mary, led a sinless life,
suffered
under Pontius Pilate, was crucified,
died,
and was buried. And on the third day,
He
arose from the dead, ascended into heaven
and
sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
from
which He shall judge the living and the dead.
We believe
in the Holy Spirit,
the
third Person of the Holy Trinity
who
leads and guides us in all truth.
We believe
in the holy apostolic and unified church:
in
one faith, one baptism, one Lord above all;
in
the communion of saints, who are the body of Christ;
and
that we become one of His because of His completed work
of
salvation when we confess with our mouth that He is the Christ;
that
we become His heirs;
in
Christ’s faithfulness to forgive our sins
upon
our repentance,
and
that He will never leave us nor forsake us;
in
His coming for His saints,
the
resurrection of the body
and
life everlasting.
