Hi...I'm Sandy

(I'm the Mom)... I work as a Mechanical Engineer, working for Rocketdyne, a division of Rockwell Aerospace, on the International Space Station Alpha project. In short, I do mechanical design of electrical cables for the Space Station Electric Power System. I'm 41 years old, a single mother of 3 girls and head of a very busy and, I hope, happy household. I love space stuff, science fiction, all kinds of outdoorsey things, photography, music, playing the flute, messing around with the computer, weekend trips and chatting on IRC. Between school, music lessons and gymnastics, the girls and I like to go on family outings to amusement parks, picnics, museums, water parks and the movies.
