Andrew Wyeth stayed with us one summer and somehow got the sugar gliders to sit still long enough to create this stunning family portrait.

Out of respect for the sugar gliders' natural color-blindness, a monochromatic palette was used for the artwork.

"I miss that old straw hat," reminisces Gladden, "It was a souvenir of Havana from Ernest Hemmingway. I wish Squeak hadn't eaten it."

"I wonder if it tasted good," he adds.
