People who make Eldo their home course.
Above left: Eldo Nino [Joel Hall, here age 17] putts #6.

One of the best players anywhere who eschews tournaments, "MD" Mike, AKA "Big Run-up Mike" also
falls in the group of "one of the nicest guys you'd ever wish to meet" category...a not-too-scant category of people whom
play Eldo. Here Mike putts on # 6.
Matt Hibben when he was an intermediate amateur player, receiving an award at the 2000 SoCal
Championships. Now competing at the Open [or 'pro'] level, Matt is a frequent 'placer' amongst the best. Another really
nice guy, too!
Jerry Koon, AKA "Koonie", AKA "Koon Dog", AKA "Larry Tate" [all self-designated monikers] is easily recognizable for
his attire-or lack thereof-even in the coldest weather. Jerry has that most-endearing ability to laugh at himself; it's all
good!
Dan Duron, a world-class Pro, competing in the November, 2001 Eldo Monthlie.
Technically a Sylmar representitive, Dan and 'Team Odyssey" partner Christopher Brophy both consider El Dorado
their 'home' course'. Is this redundant?: Both Chris and Dan are really nice guys.
Frank "that's right" Segura tees-off on hole #5.
An arrow-straight, albeit not long-distance driver, Frank is still one of the best putters
here...perhaps no one makes more 40+ foot shots than Frank, a diehard Rams fan. In back, l-r: Innova molder and
SoCal TD chris Blampain, Big D Pat, Chuck Allen, Jim 'Cros' Crosby.

A self-portrait of internationally-unknown artiste' slo, not only a frequent denizen of
El Dorado, but the Plastic Pilots webmeister, as well as official self-designated ambassador for the club, and the course.
...he's a real jerk, however...

Skip Kelso making the 'donut' shot on #11.
This shot is just-inside OB, and the circle as well, and requires a dead-flat delivery--no margin-for-error.
Skip has used THIS PHOTOGRAPY [captured by Ted Stryker on his telephone] to re-position, and re-make the shot, on a bet!!
