Dear Prospective Member,
Thank you for your interest in joining the Davidson County Democratic Women. We welcome everyone regardless of age, race, gender, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or physical ability, who will work:

We hold monthly meetings on the third Thursday of most months at the Tennessee Democratic Party Headquarters, 223 8th Avenue North, in Nashville, in the 2nd floor Freedom Room. Our next regular meeting is Thursday, February 16th. Refreshments and networking will be 5:30-6:00 and the meeting will begin by 6:00pm. Parking is sometimes available in the first floor garage under the building.
In months when we have a major activity or event, we do not hold a regular meeting. Our events for this year included:
* February – Legislative Reception – held Tuesday February 28th this year
*July – Picnic and Auction – held in July at Ellington Agricultural Park
* October – Women’s Day
*December – Holiday Membership Tea

DCDW dues are $20 per year. Please complete the membership application included and send it with your check made out to DCDW to:

Directions to TN Democratic Party Headquarters, 223 8th Avenue North:
223 8th Avenue North is at the southern corner of 8th Avenue North and Union Street, just across from the back of the old Metro Library where the Mayor’s office is temporarily located. Remember 8th Avenue North at that point is one way going north. You have to approach it from Church Street. Parking is available in the lot on Church Street bordered by Polk Street and 8th Avenue North and some parking is available at meters on 8th Avenue North. Parking is sometimes available in the first floor garage under the building.
What area of town will you be coming from?
* From the southern area, take I-65 N to I-40 W. Take the Church St. exit. Turn right onto Church Street. Go to the second red light, turn left onto 8th Avenue North. Turn left into garage under the second building on your left or park on the street.
* From the northern area, take I-65 S to I-40 E. Take the Church St. exit. Turn left onto Church Street. Go to the second red light, turn left onto 8th Avenue North. Turn left into garage under the second building on your left or park on the street.
*From the southeastern area, take I-24 W to I-40 W. Take the Church St. exit. Turn right onto Church Street. Go to the second red light, turn left onto 8th Avenue North. Turn left into garage under the second building on your left or park on the street
* From the northwestern area, take I-24 E to I-65 S. Take the Church St. exit. Turn left onto Church Street. Go to the second red light, turn left onto 8th Avenue North. Turn left into garage under the second building on your left or park on the street.
* From the eastern area, take I-40 W. Take the Church St. exit. Turn right onto Church Street. Go to the second red light, turn left onto 8th Avenue North. Turn left into garage under the second building on your left or park on the street.
*From the western area, take I-40 E Take the Church St. exit. Turn left onto Church Street. Go to the second red light, turn left onto 8th Avenue North. Turn left into garage under the second building on your left or park on the street.
