Lou KNOX was born in Illinois in January of 1881.

The census taken on June 25, 1900 in Herrick Precinct, Knox County, Nebraska shows Lou living there at age 19 with his parents. He was listed as a farm laborer.

The U.S. census taken in April of 1910 shows that he had moved with his
parents to Cherokee Township, Montgomery County, Kansas.

He was shown as still in Montgomery County (Kansas) with his parents in 1920.

But by 1927 he was living back in Nebraska (in Center, Nebraska) where he was working as a School Custodian.

He is known to have been buried at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville, Montgomery County, Kansas.
