Christina (Anna Christina) RUGH)

(daughter of Michael Sr. & Franzina)

She was born in Northampton (now Lehigh) County, Pennsylvania about 1750. She was probably born in old Bucks County (later known as Northampton County) at her fathers homesteaded land on Truckers Creek near Macungie. She came with her parents and siblings to settle in Westmoreland County Pennsylvania in 1772.

She was recorded as still being "in single state" when she appeared in the records as a baptismal sponsor for her nephew (Peter Mechling) on 8 Oct 1780 at the Zion Evangelical Reformed Church in Hempfield Township. No further record of her has been found. She may have died during the 1782 Indian raid that may also have killed her mother Franzina, but there is no proof of this.
