Francis Raymond Kaiser

francis_kaiser-1941.jpg

Above is a photo of Francis Raymond Kaiser.  Only photo of him taken in 1941 in the Navy.  He died just before the end of WWII.

I've heard two stories so far.  That Francis died at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941.  And, that he died aboard a ship that sank in the Pacific.  In both cases no name of ship was given.  I've been able to find a listing of those that died at Pearl Harbor on the Internet.

Found the list at http://westernwebs.net/pearlharbor/casualty_list.htm - and Francis is NOT on the list of those that died on December 7th, 1941 at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Joyce Parsons, wife of Mike Parsons, informs us that Francis died "at sea" in the Phillipines.  The year was 1945.
