A rare transit by Mercury of a prominence approx. 5 mins before
1st contact.
Thus far, I've only been able to find one other occurrence where either
of the two inter planets were ever seen
off of the sun's limb silhouetted by a prominence. This occurred
during the Mercury transit on May 9, 1970.
