      A rare transit by Mercury of a prominence approx. 5 mins before 1st contact.
Thus far, I've only been able to find one other occurrence where either of the two inter planets were ever  seen off of the sun's limb silhouetted by a prominence.  This occurred during the Mercury transit on May 9, 1970.
