Growing up amid the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains in south central Colorado was the greatest gift I can imagine. It has shaped my view of the world and my place in it ever since.
I came to glass blowing later in life. It was my second metamorphosis after college and a degree in biology and years in the sciences...living in Central New York and California. I have been a glassblower for 12 years and learned glass techniques from Paul Trautman, Boyd Sugiki, Kisao Iburi and Lucio Bubacco in classes and workshops. I've learned a lot of life's lessons from the glass itself and am still learning...
